I didn’t make much progress on my blanket this month. I was too busy getting the house in order. Now I’m out of the habit of working on it a little bit a day, so it will probably be slow growing until I get back into the swing of things.
Do you have any long term knitting projects on the needles?
Your blanket is looking really nice. Is it fingering weight? My chunky blanket is turning into a long term project, but it really shouldn’t have been.

The pattern is for fingering weight, but I’m using worsted weight. I really like being able to use my yarn scraps, so I keep making scrap blankets in various weights.

Your blanket looks great!
Moving his a huge undertaking. I’d be MIA for months.
I’m trying not to have the baby blanket be a long term project but it will take longer than I originally planned.

Baby blankets always take me longer than I think they should. They are very annoying that way.

Your blanket looks great! We’re getting into blanket knitting weather – soon you will have the urge to get back into it! I have a National Parks afghan I started a couple years ago that I am trying to psyche myself back into picking up again. So probably not so much long running as long stored WIP 🙂

Of course there is the never ending Orkney, but I have changed colors out of my bag, so will take it with me to Newell today…it might get some attention there, since there’s lots of waiting!

Wow, you are making great progress. I have a granny stripe blanket that sits next to my knitting chair. I love working on it. I love being reminded of all the pretty yarns I have worked with in the past, and my friends love passing along their small bits of left over yarn. I don’t want the project to end, but there is always a need for another.

I am that way with my patchwork square blanket, as soon as I finish one I cast on another.

My granny row blanket is definitely a long term project as well as my Cozy Memories one.

Do I ever! I’m knitting a blanket for my granddaughter. I’m using 2 One Pound Caron skeins and will continue until they are finished. It’s taking FOREVER. it was impossible to knit in the summer but now with it cooler I am taking it up again and trying to get 6 inches a day. It’s a twin bed size! What was I thinking?!
