I’m working on legwarmers for the daughter of a dear friend. I can’t start socks until these are done. I fear they will never end.

The kids and I dyed some yarn with Kool Aid last week. Elliot chose lemonade, I chose grape, and Audrey chose cherry. I like how they all turned out. I think Elliot made the best choice, as the yellow is so cheerful. It’s also the color of his favorite Paw Patrol pup, so he is very excited to have something knit out of yellow.

I only read one book last month. That’s it.

The average American only reads 12 books a year. This month I’m average. Oh well.

I finished two big projects this week. I had some unexpected time to sit and the energy to knit i cord. So that is what I did.

Vertices Unite

It is big. It is bright. I like it. Elliot helped me model it.

I also finished Audrey’s blanket. I finished the squares back in November, but it took me months to find i cord mojo. She helped me out with the pictures, and had strong opinions on the poses she should use. She is now in charge of all further knit photoshoots.

It feels good to have two big projects off of my needles. Are you working on anything fun this week?
