This week I made two coffee cup sleeves for my nieces. I thought it was a cute way to present their Starbucks cards. I used some stash acrylic, as I wanted them to be easy care.
Christmas prep has cut into my knitting time. The only WIP I have is the dumpster fire ornament. The flames are done, so all that is left is the dumpster. Hopefully I’ll get it done this week. If not I’ll get it done for next year.
Do you know what goes perfectly with a snow day? Cinnamon swirl sourdough. This bread was gone in less than 24 hours. It is destined to become part of our regular bread rotation.
John’s socks are done! I tried to wind yarn for Christmas socks for me, but I ended up with two skeins of yarn barf. I’m thinking the yarn is cursed.
We woke up to a lot of snow yesterday morning. The kids were excited to get out and play. John was excited to try out his new snowblower. I was excited to have an excuse to drink tea by the fire. It worked out well for all of us.
I hope you were able to spend the weekend doing something that excites you too.
