What kind toe cast on is that? I like it very much.

It’s actually my heel. I knit top down socks. The ruler is shaped for a heel or toe, so it looks confusing when measuring.

Oh, you are smart to measure. I usually wing it. For knits for others I do measure, but never for me!

I always measure socks, because it is too much work to make a sock that doesn’t fit. I even write the names and lengths of the people I make socks for on the back so I don’t have to measure their feet every time.
