I finished a skein of handspun. It is Rambouillet from HoneyGold Acres in the Woodland colorway (if the only thing I could spin for the rest of my life was Rambouillet from HG Acres I would be fine with that). The skein weighs in at 122 g and is 360 yards, so a heavy sport or light DK. The green is hard to capture in a photograph, but in real life it looks like the greenest day of spring. I love it.

I resolved to spin at at least 300 days this year. So far I’m spinning when I’m at home, which means I’m on track to to meet that goal.
Interesting. The green looks much brighter and more lively when I link to the blog, rather than just look at it on the e-mail notification!

That goal will yield lots of special yarn. Do you have any project goals using your skeins?

I have vague plans for hats and fingerless mitts, but nothing set in stone yet. Eventually I want to knit a handspun sweater.
