I actually finished these a week or two ago, but I kept forgetting to take a picture.

I finished my National Seashell Day (June 21) socks from the Knit Spin Farm Little Known Holidays Yarn Club. I prefer to think of this colorway as an 80s makeup palate. They are not my usual colors, but I am keeping them because they are discontinuing the base (90% Targhee 10% Nylon Sport Weight) and it is my favorite.
Do you have any socks on the needles?
Why yes, yes I do have a pair of Rose City Roller socks on my needles. Your socks are pretty.

Those are beautiful!! No socks for me right now. But I do have a pair of fingerless mitts I’m working on. They are kind of like socks for you hands, if you squint š

You are just making hand yoga socks. That makes sense to me.

They are also really comfy to wear around the house in slippers all winter.

I am pondering a sock project. I have the yarn, just lacking the will to start.

Those colors are giving major Caboodles vibes. Love it. And I am knitting Christmas socks with West Yorkshire Spinners self-striping.

Which colorway? I love their sock yarn. Oh my gosh, those socks are totally the color of my old Caboodle.

I have yarn for 10 pair on order, but the only socks on my needles at the moment are Christmas stocking ornaments for my students. I decided I should get an early start and use up my odds and ends as much as possible. š

Yes, socks are on the needles – and I even did several rows last week, when I didn’t have the time to pull out extra needles to split front and back of the current sweater project! And I’ll also work on them when it’s too hot to have a heavy wool sweater on my lap. But there’s no hurry – it will be a while before I want wool on my feet again!
