I plied the yarn I spun on Audrey’s wheel. The fiber is wool and sari silk. The top hank is a two ply yarn. The bottom hank is chain plied, which makes it a three ply. It is by far the best chain plying I have done. That being said, I’m really bad at chain plying. Thanks to help from Liz I was able to get started with chain plying.
I have no idea what I’m going to do with this yarn. It is smooshy and I like to look at it. That is good enough.
Smooshy is good!

I think your chain ply looks good, the more you do the more you find your rhythm…I’m always a bit rusty at finding it again when I haven’t done it in a while. You can always use one of your cardboard tubes of yarn to practice with before a big project.

Is chain plying the same as Navaho ply?
