I feel like I have so many things in progress, but when I actually look at my WIPs it is far from substantial. Maybe it is just because my knitting WIP is intense.
I’m working on the Reywa cowl. It is all colorwork, so it is not something I can work on during the day. I can only work on it once the kids are in bed and John is interested in something so he isn’t talking. I cannot have a beer or a glass of wine and work on it. I cannot be tired and work on it. When I am actually able to make progress on it I love it. This yarn is a Yak Wool blend and feels like a dream. I’m a quarter of the way through it, and I hope to have it done by next winter.

On my wheel I have some HoneyGold Acres Rambouilette. I’m about halfway through the braid. It feels amazing on my hands while I spin it. This is destined to be something for John.

What are you working on this week?
Your cowl looks lovely so far, I bet it will keep you really warm next winter. Lucky John, that fibre looks soft

The fiber is extremely soft. It’s hard not to rub my face all over it.

That fancy stranded patternwork does take a lot of concentration. I feel that the ultimate garment makes the effort so worthwhile. I’m working on purple hooded cardigan for granddaughter.

Probably. I can cinch the deal if I use some fun buttons.

Thank you. I am going to love it, and I’m actually OK with it taking a long time.

Is that the cowl kit from Wisconsin? The colors are lovely. Your spinning inspires me, as always.

It is the cowl kit from Wisconsin. It is very extravagant knitting, which makes me want to savor it. Also, it’s hard to knit because I like beer and talking.
