Audrey and I are ready for soup season. It was below 80 today, so we made chicken noodle soup. We made homemade egg noodles for the first time today.
It was delicious. I look forward to enjoying leftovers for days.

Soup! I eat soup all year round but we don’t get to 80°F here. Homemade noodles sound yummy.

Yes! I am waiting for CN season! My partner makes giant batches with a roasted chicken and his homemade noodles. There is something soooooo comforting about homemade CN. Hoodies season please come soon, I will never complain about the cold again!!!

I’m going to make baked potato soup tonight, but after seeing your noodles I’m thinking that maybe a noodle soup is in my near future. Your soup looks fantastic!!

Fun. I have never made noodles from scratch but I guess it’d be like making pie crust in a way and making lattice strips?

They really are fun to make, especially if you have a pasta machine to make it easier. They tend to be delicious no matter how the look, simply because they’re homemade. A pasta machine makes the noodles uniform and not too thick.
