Adult Bonnet

I made my cousin a bonnet. She has the kind of style that can pull off a bonnet. I do not. I tried on the bonnet. It was not a good look.

The pattern is Beloved by Tin Can Knits and the yarn is Ewe Turn Dyeworks DK in the colorway The Grass is Always Greener. This is the best I could do in capturing this color. It is so bright and joyful in real life, but it doesn’t come across on camera. I love the color.

  1. I love a good bonnet. My Grandmother was a bonnet maker. She would sew them and I would wear them. I was a Holly Hobby fan in my tweens. I do not think I could rock a bonnet now. But if you wear one, I will too! ✊ or not. That’s a lovely green.

    1. I used to love bonnets, and Audrey wore them until she was three or four and grew out of them. I thought I could pull it off, but I look so very silly. That being said, if you are up for bonnet wearing I’ll wear one too.
