I made my cousin a bonnet. She has the kind of style that can pull off a bonnet. I do not. I tried on the bonnet. It was not a good look.

The pattern is Beloved by Tin Can Knits and the yarn is Ewe Turn Dyeworks DK in the colorway The Grass is Always Greener. This is the best I could do in capturing this color. It is so bright and joyful in real life, but it doesn’t come across on camera. I love the color.
That is lovely yarn and a great bonnet! Very cute pattern 🙂 That looks like a good color for you though – are you thinking about making a hat for yourself with it?

No, I think I’ll use the rest in my Northeasterly scrappy blanket. I love the color, but I have so much yarn I want to knit with I can’t be bothered to use it for another hat. At least not right now.

That is a great use for it! You will get to see it and enjoy it in your blanket 🙂

I love a good bonnet. My Grandmother was a bonnet maker. She would sew them and I would wear them. I was a Holly Hobby fan in my tweens. I do not think I could rock a bonnet now. But if you wear one, I will too! ✊ or not. That’s a lovely green.

I used to love bonnets, and Audrey wore them until she was three or four and grew out of them. I thought I could pull it off, but I look so very silly. That being said, if you are up for bonnet wearing I’ll wear one too.

Also love the color.

I did consider knitting something with ear flaps, maybe a bonnet would work. Hard to know whether you could rock one until you try it on I guess.

If nothing else, it is a fun knit. So even if the bonnet doesn’t work it would be enjoyable. It would look great in purple.
