I spent the weekend on the Mississippi with my parents and siblings. It was incredibly relaxing. I cast on a pair of socks about a two hours into our drive to the river. I cast them off last night. I love sport weight socks.

The yarn is from the April, 2021 Knit Spin Farm Yarn Club in the World Plant a Vegetable Garden Day (May 19) colorway. The colors represent eggplant, carrots, snow peas, spinach, and sweet corn. The yarn is 90% Superwash Targhee and 10% Nylon. It is my favorite base. I love being in the sock club. It feels like I have a new favorite pair of socks every month.
Your socks look great – love that yarn! That is such a fun yarn club 🙂 Glad you had fun with your family!

Great looking socks! I am seriously looking into sock clubs. You receive a skein each month?

Yes, one skein a month. I love it.

I can knit sport weight socks on 2.5 needles, so they go very fast.

I’ve never knit with targhee before. Do you find it different from merino?

I like it more than merino for socks. It is soft, but smooshier and seems to wear better.
