I’m working away on my Throughstone sweater, and hope to get to the sleeves by the end of April. I’m working on it a half hour a day. That is the only way I’ll ever get it done. It is really boring knitting at the moment.
I’ve started a Bigger On The Inside. I bought the yarn when the pattern came out in 2012. It feels really good be knitting with it. The is exactly the kind of thing I hate wearing – it is basically a long shawette. There is a lot of lace. Then you pick up 300 some stitches and knit more lace. It’s not the kind of thing I enjoy knitting. Yet I’m loving it. My mind feels stretched when I knit lace, and right now that feels pretty good. I’m halfway through the Time Vortex Lace. I’m looking forward to starting the TARDIS lace.

Will I wear this often? No. Will I wear it every time I watch Dr. Who? You bet I will.
What are you working on?
OH my gosh it is beautiful yarn! your stitches are already lovely. If lace is calling your name, go for it!!! Hooray

I have! I should probably stop knitting for a bit as I’m not supposed to finish until May 31st, but I just want it done so I can wear it!🤣

People always say our house is bigger on the inside like a tardis. I used to enjoy hiding behind a cushion watching Tom Baker as Dr Who, I could have done with this shawl to hide behind…and peak through the lace lol

That is a great idea! That is how I would watch the Weeping Angles episode.

That is beautiful already! Love that yarn color, and the lace is going to be gorgeous, and yet also fun 🙂

I’m pretty sure this will be my sister’s Christmas present, and it’s a very good excuse to buy yarn! But picking up 300 stitches?? Eek!

Picking up the stitches was the worst. I had to eat some of my kids Easter candy to make up for it.

I am NOT working on brain-stretching cat barf-looking lace, that’s for sure! I give you much credit.
