I’m visiting family and working on a hat for Audrey. I’m holding woolen spun from Beaverslide Dry Goods and a mystery blue sparkly silk I picked up from the odds and ends basket at Heartland Fibers. I’m hoping to finish before we leave so I can make my mom sew the pom pom on for me.
Great combination of colors and textures.

What a nice combination of colors. A few years ago, an online yarn shop was closing and she had items for sale that were ridiculously cheap. I told the shop keeper to surprise me with some Malabrigo and I received a pretty skein of brown and blue.

Love those yarns together! It’s always interesting how marled yarns look so variable 🙂
