Lovely sweater pockets ! loved your daughter on INSTA! whats the foot update? good? not so good? can’t be healed fast enough Im sure. Im switching between the 3/4s done cowl and my new sock. You probably saw it if you came by , but it has flowers at the top of the sock. I”ve decided its rather wide and so it will have an afterthought heel!
I haven’t read blogs in a week, but I’m planning on catching up today. I’m looking forward to seeing the flower socks. I’m down to one crutch, and can put 75% of my weight on my foot. I am loving being able to move.
You are right, I’m not to the yoke pattern yet. I think it will go faster once I am there. At least I hope it will. And you can ask as many times as you need to, I don’t mind a bit. In fact, maybe it will get me to remember it when I post.
It’s good to hear from you Sarah. Just yesterday I was wondering how you were. I also am working on Water shawl, only in my case, its the chocolate cake shawl.
Okay, confession time: I find the garter sections of the water shawl boring. I hope you made it to the lace section. I liked seeing the extras in your sweater photo–I have that same Franklin Habit book!
I love that Franklin Habit book. I would like there to be a sequel. I’ve made it to the lace section, and I’m pleasantly surprised how fast it goes. The garter is the fiddly kind that is almost brainless, but not totally, so I have to use stitch markers to keep track of which row I’m on or I mess it up.
I got to meet him a couple of years ago when I took a class with him at KITH & he’s SO delightful. I keep the pattern open on my ipad while I knit so I can keep track of which row I’m on.

I’m working on a Throughstone. It is slow going, but I think it will be worth it.

I keep asking you that and you patiently tell me again. Thank you. I guess because I think it has a yoke pattern and you’re not there yet?

Those are looking great! Do I spy hidden colorwork pockets?
I’m just working on my test knit all day every day…

You do spy hidden colorwork pockets! They will match the yoke, which I’m excited to get to, as I’m at the boring part right now.

Socks, socks and more socks! I am on the final overhaul to salvage the long ribbing I did for 2 pair of DH’s socks.
