I can’t believe how much knitting you can get done when you are stuck on your butt.
I finished a Beloved bonnet for my niece. I can’t believe she is already turning one. The color is more teal in real life, but it doesn’t photograph well.

I finished John’s blanket. I knit the blanket out of sport weight yarn. I CO 135 stitches and knit with US 10.5 needles. I knit until I was out of each color. I really thought this blanket would take months, but it turns out I have lots of unexpected time for boring projects.

I’ve pulled my Throughstone sweater out of hibernation and plan to work on it a little bit each day. I’m torn between casting on a sweater for Elliot or a cowl for myself. Perhaps I’ll cast on both?
Have a great weekend!
Blanket looks fab and seems easy

It is annoyingly easy. It was perfect for opioid knitting.

I like the way the bonnet hugs the neck.

The blanket and the bonnet both turned out great! Both look like they are so cozy 🙂 Is John happy with his blanket? Those are great colors – they really go together well!

I love the colors of his blanket. I kind of want to steal it. He likes it a lot, but it is currently so cold here he’s using a thicker blanket.

Lovely finishes! I took out my blanket blocks today and picked another block to cast on. It’s so cold, the only thing that sounds good is sitting under something wool!

It is getting me to work on big projects that have been languishing. I think it is because they warm up my lap.

That bonnet is so sweet! And I love the blanket. Thank goodness for crafts. Heal faster Sarah. I know you would if you could . There is some saying about a cat in the room heals a broken bone…… ?

I’m allergic to cats, so I’ll choose to believe that Wrigley is just as good as a cat.
