I finished my socks. The yarns is Regia Pairfect, which is hard wearing and knits up beautifully.
I started a new pair of socks. I’m using the January colorway from Knit Spin Farms little known holidays club. I’m knitting sport weight socks, which for me means using US 2.5 needles. My Knit Picks circular needles broke and my back up 2.5 needles have a wonky join so I’ve ordered new needles from Skein Shop (good prices and fast free shipping to the US). They arrive on Wednesday, so I won’t be working on my socks until then.

Yes, indeed. I’m glad to hear about a hard-wearing yarn. Recently made socks have been plagued by holes, and I need to re-evaluate my sock- making choices.

Congrats on the finished pair. I was just planning to get some self-striping yarn for myself. Except I accidentally cast on a hat, so it might have to wait a few days. Looks great!

well tomorrow is almost here and you’ll be back in the needles. What a bummer to have to stop due to two needles misbehaving. Not nice. Not fair for you especially in your healing phase!!!!!

Those are so pretty, love the colors in them. I have now knit the same 8 rows three times since Saturday, but it is finally correct and I am changing to bluebell and Victorian for the next 4 rows. 🥳

Oh the wonky needles. I have a set of size 6 circulars that are actually backwards on one side. I finally got another pair or set as you would call it. I now have size 6 circulars in all lengths as it seems that’s the size I use the most, straight or circular. And there’s nothing worse than a circular needle with a tiny little catching it so you can’t move the yarn forward, I have to say I really prefer straight needles but so many things take circulars. And PS your socks look amazing
