I’m all about mindless knitting right now. For me that means socks. I finished the pair I was working on when I last updated you on socks, but I have yet to take a picture of them. I also made Elliot a pair of tube socks. Kids grow fast, and tube socks will allow the socks to grow with him. I made Audrey tube socks too, but added ribbing to the top as she has narrower feet than Elliot.

I apologize for the quality of these photos. It is hard to get pictures of kids standing still, especially when you spend most of your waking time in a recliner with your ankle elevated.
I’m now working on a pair of socks for myself. I’m not making as much progress now, as I’m off prescription pain meds and lucid enough to recognize boredom.
How are your socks coming along?
I am doing ribbing on the arch of the socks I’m making right now. I’ve never done that before. I am hoping it will make them snug.

Their socks look great! Hope your move along pretty well too 🙂
I started a sock that is one of a mismatch pair, so im doing them 1 at a time, which is different for me.

How interesting – miss-matched. I will be keen to see those.

I finished the worlds ugliest drinks cosy but Allistar says he likes it and have made myself one in some leftover pretty purple merino and silk I blended myself and handspun. Roll on next Sunday when we can walk to buy cake and a hot chocolate again and have hot drinks for longer yay 😀. (Due to restrictions around Corona virus you can’t take your own cup or sit in or outside and they are compostable cups.)

They’re still ignored; I do have a pair I need to take pictures of though!

I am 2/3 through the ribbing on the first sock, so not very far!

Nice job – I am stuck knitting sweaters, which takes forever. I just can’t seem to get interested in much else these days. At least it’s cold where I live, so I can never have too many. I love the socks!

My thoughts of been set to the side well I work on a sweater for my granddaughter whose birthday is on the 13th and I still have to do the sleeves Button bands and mail it to California which could prove tricky with the mail the way it is. So glad you are doing better.
