Ah, October. Changing leaves. Brisk air. Warm tea. The desire to cast on all the things. I’ve decided to throw caution to the wind and just cast on whatever I feel like this month. I’ll deal with the consequences of my actions next month.
I have a list of nine projects I want to knit on my yarn room white board. I think I’ll cast on a hat tonight. I’m thinking a shawl tomorrow. Maybe I’ll work on a WIP at some point. I don’t know. It’s October. I’m going wild.
It is not actually Worldwide Cast On All The Things Month. I just made that up to make myself feel better.
I’m laughing hard at this post!!!

I think you need to make that an official thing. Seems like a good month to cast on everything. Make it so, #1.

Everything starts as one person’s idea…if we all joined you and shared our posts in a few years this could be true 😉

I mean, I’m celebrating it too, so you’re just reading the room!

You must have a large number of needles to accommodate all your new cast-ons.

I have a lot of needles, and an interchangable needle set. I could have 50 projects OTN, so having 10 WIPs isn’t even that bad.

I have way more CO’s than usual. Trying to get some WIP’s done.

Let’s make this an actual thing! Starting ten things and having a ridiculous WIP list is fine if everyone else is doing it, right?

It is decided, WCOATHM is an official thing. What are you casting on for it?
