I finished another pair of Christmas socks. This pair is knit with West Yorkshire Spinners. The contrasting red was sent to me by the fabulous Bonny after I commented on how much I liked the contrasting cuffs, heels, and toes on her matching socks.
I will not be making a new pair of socks this week. We close on our new house in two weeks, and close on our current house two days after that. I’ll be busy until then. I’ve packed my stash (including sending the good stuff home with Jess to be watched over. I didn’t trust myself to stay out of it). The only knitting I have to work on is my WIPs. Lucky for me that is 3 sweaters, 2 blankets, and a shawl.

I hate moving but you were smart to have your new house closing BEFORE you have to close on the old one. We did the opposite & were stuck with vans of furniture & no place to go on cape cod in August. We had to stay in an expensive rental for 5 days we paid for a months worth. I vowed to never move again after that summer. But if my kitchen isn’t finished soon I may sign up for one of Elon Muskks rockets to Mars.
