I have not made much progress on my socks this week. I’m just past the gusset on the first sock. This is my knit while the kids play outside project, but I have been motivated to weed instead of knitting. I’m sure that will change quickly.

I recently purchased two skeins of sock yarn to commemorate the pandemic. Stranded Dyeworks has two new colorways: Wash Your Hands and Don’t Touch Your Face. These are destined to become socks or hats.

I hope your week is starting off well.
Do I see sparklies in your sock?

Gorgeous yarn!
Weeding instead of knitting is fine:) There is something about ripping weeds out of the ground that is just as soothing as knitting.

Gardening and yard work really feel good right now! Around August it will be tiresome, but now it is a very satisfying 🙂 Those are great yarn names, and pretty yarn!

I’ll probably give up on gardening in June. Especially because I won’t be able to move after moving mulch all day.

I like the idea of knitting with it someday when this whole situation is a distant memory.

The socks will wait patiently for you whilst you weed the garden. Love the new colours too. Especially the left one.

Weeding is good, the socks will still be knit!

The sock isn’t going anywhere so why not weed while you can! The yarn is lovely, any plans for what you’ll make?

I think I’ll made a Midas hat with one and socks with the other. I’m not sure which one I’ll use for which yet.
