
This blanket is cruising along. I love the checkerboard pattern, and I think I will probably do more blankets like this. I’m showing you the front and the back of the blanket this time. I sew in the ends as I go along, other than the edges, which are easier to sew in once another square is attached. I will need to buy more of the sparkly black yarn, but I’m putting it off, hoping that Fiberpalooza will be rescheduled and I can buy it in person.
It looks fantastic! I love the alternating black and color.

The checkerboard idea is brilliant! You could use whatever color semi/solid you wanted to act as a foil to the others.

So smart to so in the ends as you go. That would be mine boggling and a bit defeating at the end of it if you had to so in thousands of ends. I like the black squares in between.
