This week I made sourdough cinnamon rolls as a King Cake (as requested by Elliot, Yellow Cake with Fudge Frosting, Hamburger Buns, Sourdough Banana Bread, Mostly Whole Wheat Sandwich Bread (fail), Sandwich Bread (success), and Chocolate Chip Sourdough.
The Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls were amazing. They are the best cinnamon rolls I’ve ever had. They are my new go to cinnamon roll recipe. The sourdough banana bread is my new favorite banana bread recipe. It was a really good week for baking.

I’m struggling to find yeast here in the Midlands of England though – the quarantine must have converted everyone into aspiring bakers 🙂 I’ll have to learn to make sourdough…

We cannot get any flour anywhere Fireman says he’d bake bread if we did..
When we have flour , he doesnt say that…..
We did score focaccia bread from our bakery that delivers to the car today!

Gorgeous bakes! We have our bread and a batch of brownies so far this week. I put the peach muffins in the freezer so I wouldn’t eat them all.

Sourdough cinnamon rolls?? I didn’t even know that was a thing! That is definitely my next bake, forget everything else!
Although I’m still going to make sourdough crumpets with the discard forever more.
