I finished the Hitchhiker. I enjoyed knitting this. The ease of a garter stitch project was just what I needed. I used pink and orange tweed from my stash. The label was lost long ago, so I have no idea what brand it is.
I tried it on. It is not me. I might try to keep it to use it as a scarf. It is far more likely that I will put it in my gift bin and wait for the right situation to present it as a present.
Did you finish anything this week?
That zig-zag edge is intriguing. Nice job.

I find the Hitchhiker I made with sock yarn at never wear, but the 2 I knit with handspun I wear a lot as they are cosy scarves. I don’t think I’ve ever knit the total number of teeth in the pattern. I should finish my Void this evening, I’m just doing the icord bind off. I can’t wait to get it off my needles.

Your Hitchhiker is beautiful!! Martina Behm has great patterns. I highly recommend Miss Winkle. It’s lots of garter stitch with a little twist on the edge:)

I have that in my queue, and I’ve been meaning to knit it. I hope to get to it this year.
