I have a new hat. The pattern is Midas Hat by Laura Reinbach. I really like this pattern, and have already cast on another. I like this hat, but it is too dark for me. Maybe not always, but at least for right now. John was giving the hat googly eyes, so it is his now.

That is a great hat! I can understand why John wants it and why you’re casting on another:)

Thank you! It’s also the only kind of knitting I can handle right now.

I love that expression, how satisfying he would like it instead.

It is satisfying, especially because I found perfect yarn deep in my stash for a hat for me.

That is a nice hat. I like that hat. Did you ever read that book Go Dog, Go?

I love the coverage on that hat. Looks so warm! We need thick brimmed hats around our ears these days. Its been sunny today but 30s and windy. Still we were outside in our woods making a fire and burning brush. I love your hat

It is a great hat for this time of year, and it is easy and a free pattern. We were outside today too, this time of year I really need it.

That is a great hat! I see why John was coveting it and why you are making another one too 🙂 What yarn are you making yours in?

I’m using green and teal yarn from Madeline Tosh that I’ve had in my stash for well over a decade. I love the color. so I have no idea what took me so long to use it.
