I finished the Training Wheels cowl. It is a free, easy pattern that I will be making again. I love how the yarn knit up into stripes. It was one heck of a surprise.

I’m now balancing my knitting time between John’s socks, adding an I Cord edging to my finished blanket, and knitting myself a Winter Walk hat. I’m making myself work on the I Cord for 30 minutes a day, because small chunks of time is the only way I’ll be able to tackle it.
Did you finish anything this week?
Your cowl is lovely! I bet it’s squishy and warm:)

Beautiful! As of yesterday I am knitting 2 rows in the evening and 2 rows in the morning. We’ll see how that goes.

Yay! That bag has taken a long time. Are you free of bags now?

Yes this was thankfully the last one!!! It seemed to take so much longer than the others!

I finished that cowl and yesterday finished Turtle Dove but I’m so far not keen on it…hoping blocking will improve it.

If it doesn’t improve it, I hope there is someone in your life who it will look great on who is knitworthy.

Oh and I finished a super chunky hat this weekend, which got a whole skein out of my stash. Double win!

Just think if you can finish a project a day you’ll have all that stash gone! I’m still blinking, LOL

Your cowl is really beautiful! Brioche’s squishiness is definitely one of the best things about it. Plus reversable!
Yup – sure am!

New socks are the best! I wear knit socks every day in the winter and having a new pair in the rotation always feels great.

That a great cowl! I may need a new pattern instead of the linen stitch. Ugh.

Whenever I make something with linen stitch I swear I’m never going to do it again. It is so slow, but so beautiful.
