It is cold windy here. We have several inches of snow on the ground. It is too cold to play outside. It sounds awful, right?
It’s actually pretty awesome. My in-laws took the kids all day. John and I have been lazing around like we did pre kids. I have been knitting and sipping tea. He has been doing….hmm…I don’t know…..computery things….in his office.
We took a break to do a puzzle together. Shutterfly offers often suck me in, and I thought it would be fun to have a puzzle of our family. It was really fun, and I will be making a puzzle of our photos again.

We also played Tiny Towns, a game we got for Christmas and hadn’t figured out how to play yet. It is a really fun game, and might replace Knitting the Card Game as our regular game night choice.

I’m now going to catch up on blogs and drink even more tea before John goes to go pick up the kids and we have to live like grown ups again. I hope you are having a relaxing Saturday too.
What a wonderful child-free day:) My day involved a track meet. It was fun but I was cold the entire time.

Sounds like such a fun day! I remember what a treat it was to get breaks when the kids were little; glad you enjoyed it. And I love the puzzle idea–I might do one of our family for my mom!

It is really fun. I’ll bring it on our eventual Shetland cruise.
