My blanket is getting big. The next time I show you my monthly blanket progress it will be for a new blanket. My plan is to continue sewing daily squares on this blanket until it is square again. After that I’ll add an i cord border.

I finished the Darwinian Evolution scarf last week. It is now blocked and ready for January. I love how the scarf looks. I hope it gets a lot of use.

I’ll be spending New Years Eve caring for sick kids, knitting, trying to bead, reading, and playing board games with John. I might even go crazy and stay up until 11.
However you choose to ring in the New Year, I hope it is a good one.
Fantastic scarf! I love the blanket. You seem to make them so quickly:)
I hope the kids feel better quickly and you don’t catch it.

Great looking scarf. Does the name have to do with the helical design?

I’m not sure, it is the pattern name. I would think that is why it is named that.

Other than the sick kids, it was a perfect way to ring in the new year.

The scarf looks great, sorry the kids are sick, but it makes for a quiet New Year. We managed to stay up until 10:30 watching Downton Abbey, but didn’t make it through the first season! Happy 2020 to you 😀

I need to watch Downton Abbey at some point. I am intimidated to start because there are so many seasons.

We enjoyed it, though we didn’t start until season 4 or 5 I think!

Thank you. I accidently broke our internet while putting the tree away, so they really need to get healthy soon.
