This is my favorite sweater. I basically live in it. It’s the Fable Cardigan by Kate Gagnon Osborn knit in the Fibre Company Terra. It is a comfortable cardigan and I love the color.

I’m showing you this sweater so you can see that I have a type when it comes to knitwear. I finished my Farmhouse Cardigan by Amy Christoffers knit in Cascade Eco+ on Thursday. To say that I love it is an understatement.

I haven’t sewn buttons on it yet, only because I’ll see my Mom at Christmas and she will sew the buttons on for me. I really hate sewing on buttons. I like how long the cardigan is, it covers my butt, so it will be my go to sweater for when I’m wearing leggings.
I hope you are finishing your projects this week.
Fantastic new sweater and old sweater! Having a go to makes like so much easier:)

Everything is fancier when paired with a sweater instead of a hoodie. At least that is what I tell myself.

Oh that looks so good!! And it has POCKETS! You’re so fast with sweaters, I bet you will get Audrey’s done in time!

Bulky yarn makes for fast sweaters! I think I’ll be wearing it all winter.

They are both lovely! I’ve had an about face on the Farmhouse Cardi and I’ve ordered some red yarn for it. I also need a black cardi. Maybe your first pattern would be a good fit? Hmm… off to look at Ravelry.

I think the Fable pattern is really hard to read. I love the sweater, but reading the pattern now hurts my head.

Love your Farmhouse cardigan! It looks comfortable and also very flattering. That color looks great on you, and also it has pockets which improves any garment 🙂 Sweaters are definitely fancier than hoodies.

It is a pretty awesome cardigan – are you planning to make more?

I think I will make more. I think a gray or wheat color would be perfect.

You always pick good colors for your projects 🙂 Do you know what pattern you are going to do next?

I’m going to start a Throughstone Sweater for myself, but I’m going to wrap up a few smaller projects first. I am just not motivated to wind all of the yarn just yet.

I love your sweater. I don’t like sweaters that so much work goes into and then it looks like it was purchased and is ordinary. Your shoulder work is amazing

I wear them so often I should probably make a third green cardigan to work into the rotation.
