Oh my goodness, this week has been crazy. I am surprised that I’m writing this on Wednesday, because I’m so discombobulated I would have assumed I would write it a day late.
I’ve had lots of knitting time this week, but almost all of it has been in social situations. Because of that, my Farmhouse Cardigan didn’t get as much love this week. The more I knit on this the more I love it. I really hope that I’ll join the sleeves to the body this week. I only have about three inches to go until that happens.

I’m loving the Darwinian Evolution scarf even more with every stitch. This is the coolest yarn I’ve ever worked with.

The project I’ve worked on the most this week is the Sockhead Cowl. This was the perfect project for both of our Thanksgivings, a birthday party, a coffee date and a knit night. I’m back to ribbing, and really hope to have this done soon. I’m not casting on socks until I’m done with this.

I should start mittens for my sister, Kathleen, soon. She requested them for Christmas, I have the yarn, and I am excited to knit the pattern. Maybe I’ll make myself do that before I cast on another pair of socks. We shall see.
Have a great week!
That scarf is going to be amazing!

Lots of gorgeous knitting going on! I will check out that scarf and yarn. I have an artsy friend with a February birthday and I’d love to make her something.

You should do it! It is great yarn and so much fun to knit up. Normally a stockinette scarf with a garter edge would be incredibly boring, but not with this yarn.

All your projects are gorgeous! You are inspiring me to start that Darwinian Evolution scarf sooner rather than later. Your cardigan is beautiful and looks so squishy and cozy!

Start the scarf! It is a great project to pick up when you aren’t in the mood for a big project.

The yarn is by Feederbrook Farm and they have it at the Yarn Barn. You really should get some. It is really fun to knit.
