I finished The Gift baby cardigan while I was away on my crafting weekend. I think I should have blocked it more aggressively, but I was feeling lazy. I’m heading to Cedar Falls next week, and my mom has already agreed to find buttons in her stash and sew them on for me.
I’ve used finishing this sweater as an excuse to cast on all sorts of other projects. I’ve decided to just have a dozen WIPs so I can knit whatever I feel like in the moment.

Looks lovely. A dozen WIPs! The completer/finisher part of me couldn’t cope with that many… I have 5 and that stresses me out.

I’ve never had that many before. I am banking on becoming so overwhelmed I finish them quickly and get back to my sweater.

What a sweet baby sweater. I think I might be turning into a monogamous knitter. I have several WIPs but I’m sort of shifting into one knit at a time. Weird!

I used to be a monogamous knitter, but now I’m more of a swinger. I think that trying out other knits will lead me back to knitting monogamously on my cardigan.

Me too. I like that I can just take it home and have my mom find buttons in her stash. It also means that I don’t have to sew on the buttons, and you know how much I hate that.

I ususally have a sock and something else on the needles. I need more than one thing to fit my mood. I’m fickle that way.

That sweater is just beautiful! The lace pattern reminds me of leaves or feathers – so lovely! Sometimes its fun to have a choice of projects going at one time 🙂

I don’t have the attention span for one project at a time at the moment. I keep getting distracted by shiny objects. The lace on the sweater really won me over. I wasn’t sure about it for the first two repeats.
