After enjoying spending time on a working farm on Saturday, Audrey and I spent Sunday afternoon in the East Village of Des Moines to enjoy the yearly pet parade. I don’t think we could have found activities more opposite if we had tried. We are lucky we have the opportunity to explore so much of our town.

It is really fun. I can’t get enough of dogs in costumes. Wrigley hates it when we dress her up.

I’m pretty sure mine would just chew the costumes off each other. Maybe we should have started when they were young to brainwash them into liking it.

Candy and dogs are two of my favorite things, so it was pretty much perfect.

It is really great! Almost everything we do is a 20 minute drive away. We can explore without leaving home.
