Last night Ivy came over for a Wine & Wind Party. She had to wind the yarn for her Find Your Fade shawl, and I wanted to get some of my new yarn knit up. We decided the best way to do that would be together, while drinking wine, with a cheese board so we keep our energy up. It was a great way to get a boring job done. As an added bonus, while she was winding her yarn I could get some knitting done. I highly recommend having a Wine & Wind Party the next time you and your friends have some yarn to wind.
A note for the cheese fans: if you have an Aldi close to you, go check out the truffle cheddar. It is my favorite cheese of all time.
Great idea!!

What a delicious evening. I’d have some nice chilli jam with that cheese please. 🙂

It’s easy to make at home too, but where gloves when slicing the chilliest. My fingers burned for days.

I don’t think I’m going to wind yarn without a party again.

We are obsessed with how cool the library can be! There’s always something going on and with three kids, my budget really appreciates them 😊 I love this idea. I might try this with a mason jar so I can use it for storage. Thanks for the idea.Organic wine
