It is official – I think making a loaf of brioche bread is easier than brioche knitting. That being said, I kind of love it. After tearing out my first attempt twice I added a lifeline. I’m going to continue with that for the rest of this project.

I haven’t knit much brioche. I still have that blackberry cowl on my list, though. I remember feeling like it was a lot of work for one stitch. 😆

It looks really cool, and it is extra squishy, but there are very few things where I think I would want brioche in a project. I’m glad I know that now.

I just tried it for the first time this afternoon, and I love it! I found a great explanation on myblueprint.com, brioche knitting in the round, and it was demystified for me, at least the most basic part of it!

It is weird to knit, but does turn out lovely and cushy. I’m gearing up to try a brioche project with increases and decreases, which I have not yet done. So we’ll see.

Everyone at my LYS (sort of lys, its 35 minutes away) worked and worked to catch on to brioche. My pal Karen can knit brioche. Seems like too much work for me to try. IM LAZY

Grace O’Neill on YouTube shows how she Knits both colours at the same time when doing brioche, rather than doing 2 passes of the row. I’m going to try to learn that way I think. It looks lovely what you’ve done so far.

I’m going to watch that video and figure out how to do that the next time I work a brioche project. That sounds much better than working every row twice.
