I cannot bring myself to work on anything but the sweater. I even took it with me when I headed out of town with me. I’m usually a strict travel sock knitter.

It is a cropped sweater, so I don’t think I’m going to go down in needle size for the ribbing. I don’t think a sweater tight around the thickest point of me is a good idea. If you think that idea is silly please let me know and explain why.
I’m looking forward to seeing how it looks once it is blocked. Lace always looks a little barfy before a good blocking.
Are you working on something you love?
I think your plan sounds good. Cropped sweaters seem to be the in thing this season:)
I’m not loving the last rows of my cowl. 1×1 rib is not my favorite.

1×1 rib is the worst. I am not a fan of the cropped look, which is one of the reasons I find it odd that this sweater called to me.

Me too. It’s why I kept extending the body of Carbeth. This sweater looks so squishy and yummy. No wonder you can’t stop knitting it! 🙂

That is just gorgeous! I agree with your plan. Also not a fan of cropped sweaters.

I can’t wait until they are out of fashion, as I would like cute new patterns that cover my rotund middle.
