I only worked on one project this week. I blame my lack of productivity on being incredibly busy and my love of self striping yarn. You can tell that I have developed a project bag problem as I was able to pull out a holiday specific project bag for the occasion.
I did manage to do a tiny bit of sewing today, My Aldi quarter keeper was falling apart, so I decided to see if I could sew through fake leather. I didn’t even change the thread in my machine, so it doesn’t match, but I’m still proud of fixing it.
I am itching to cast on a sweater. I’ve been haunting Ravelry and Blueprint looking for ideas. I always add things to my queue on Ravelry, but I never want to make them when it is time to cast on.

I do the same thing with my queue. Lots of nice things but I never have the urge to cast those on. Are you thinking cardigan or pullover? I obsess over cardigans but the thought of doing buttonholes makes me rethink every pattern. Good luck. I look forward to seeing what you decide on:)

I’m thinking cardigan one minute and pullover the next. Buttonholes don’t bother me, but I really hate sewing on buttons.

Good for you with the repair! Also, love those socks, and their awesome matching project bag! Self-striping yarn really is so much fun 🙂 Do you have any specific patterns you are choosing between? Sometimes it is so hard to know which one you really want to do!

I don’t have a pattern in mind yet. I am thinking a plain cardigan with set in sleeves, as the sweater I wear the most often is the Fable cardigan.

I didn’t bring any yarn on my holiday so I’ve been incredibly unproductive. I add to my queue and then every once in a while have to go in and clear it out

Not that much as we were on the road a lot, but one book that I left for my mom to read and then put in their communal library
