We still have a third of the Tour De France to watch, and I’m already done with my TDF socks. It was nerve wracking towards the end, as I was playing yarn chicken.

It all worked out in the end, and I was able to try them on while we finished the stage.

I hope they grow a little bit when I block them, as they are more snug than I prefer. I cast on a new pair of socks to work on while we watch the tour, just to keep my hands busy while I think about how much I dislike team Ineos.
We used to get up and watch the tour every morning when we had a tv! Good memories. I loved Paul and ? The commentators, dishing out a bit of history about the towns and chateaus.

Bob Roll (or Phil Liggett, prior to his passing in 2018). I love watching it. I learn a little, get excited about a sport, and plan dream vacations all at the same time.

Yay for Sock It To Me Monday! Your new socks look great – lovely color! They should relax a little bit as you wear them. What color are your new cast-ons?

I love bright socks, so the pink is perfect for me. My new socks are purple and teal, and I love the yarn and the pattern.
