You would think I would make more progress with only one project being worked on. You would be wrong. We’ve been on the go a lot this summer, and I have not had enough time to relax on a park bench while the kids play. Slowly but surely I will finish this sock, and it will be done before pride month is over.
Im doing everything in slow motion this week. I think I should stay up as late as I can and then sleep as late as I can. Im so tired all day and then I get into bed and nope…not tired.

I have had trouble falling asleep too. I think I’m so wound up from our days. I’m cutting my caffeine in half to see if that helps.

The socks look great! You’ll get them done. Your kids will only be little for a short time so don’t fret the knitting and enjoy the summer activities:)

Thank you! I am all about rainbow socks lately. The Iowa Sheep and Wool Festival is this weekend so I think more rainbow yarn will be in my stash soon.

Hmmm, I wonder how far away that is…I might need a baby road trip next year!

It’s about 3 hours from Overland Park, if that helps. You should come and we should have lunch!

Summer goes so fast, but I am so slow in the summer. I can’t explain it.

You are making great progress! Summer is so short and goes by so quick – it’s important to get out there and have fun while you can. Also, love those socks – so bright and cheerful 🙂 Rainbows are good all year round, as well as Pride month 🙂

Beautiful work! I sprained my hand and haven’t been able to knit as much, but it’s better now!
