Happy Wednesday! I’ve made little progress on my projects this week. It is the part of the year where all I want to do is go outside.
I’m finished with the gusset on my first Rainbow Dashing sock. I love this colorway, and I think these will be my new favorite socks.
My Northeasterly is moving along. I’m glad it is finally getting boring to knit, as I only have so much worsted scrap yarn to work with.
I pulled my Everyday Shawl out of hibernation and started working on it again. It’s an easy knit, and I think I’ll love the final product. I’m alternating skeins, which feels like a lot of work, so I have a hard time motivating myself to pull this out.
I hope you had a good week and you’re being more productive than me.
Your projects are all looking good!

Looking great! I am at least back in the sewing room, etc. but there’s been plenty of outside chores keeping me busy too!

After the winter we had I feel like it is wrong to stay inside.

Um, hello, knit outside?? Also I love that sock colorway & I think I need some. And also, okay, I keep waiting for one of your book posts but I don’t want to forget: I saw Dear Martin in your stack recently & read it & loved it. And then our book group is reading The Physick Book of Deliverance Dane, fiction kind of about the Salem witch trials, and I LOVED it and for some reason felt like you might too!

I do try to knit outside, but the darn kids insist on being pushed in swings….little jerks. I am glad you liked Dear Martin! The author is coming to Des Moines, and I think I’m going to go see him speak. I read the Physick Book of Deliverance Dane! It was such a good book. I really wish there was a sequel.

Haha, little jerks indeed. Someday they will learn to swing themselves at least. Yes, go see the author, I’d love to hear about that!

It is a really fun project for scrap yarn. It’s supposed to be for fingering weight, but I already have a pattern I love for fingering weight scraps. I hate having bits of yarn left at the end of projects, so this is perfect. https://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/northeasterly
