Happy Wednesday! I’ve been so busy sewing I haven’t made much progress on my knitting.
It was a nice morning here, so I got some park knitting in on my Green Bay socks. If it weren’t for that I would still be on the cuff of the second socks.
I’m on the second sleeve of my sweater. I’m pretty sure I’m going to run out of yarn before I finish the collar. That is one of the dangers of using unknown yarn and guessing yardage based on weight. If I do run short I think I’ll dye sweater and then buy contrasting super bulky yarn for the collar and button bands. I’ll make some pockets out of the same contrasting color and sew them on. Then I’ll convince myself that it was part of the plan all along to have a contrasting collar. If I find the gumption to work on the sleeve I should be able to seam the sweater by the weekend. I’ll let you know what the yarn situation is like when that happens.
I hope you are making progress on your projects and are not in danger of running out of yarn.
Those socks are wonderful! I finally finished the back in my sweater, but now I have to figure out the lace panel, you tube here I come.

Congratulations on finishing the back. The lace panel will hopefully be fun to knit.

I really like the color combo of those socks, even if they are supporting some kind of sports ball!

Maybe deep down you are meant to be a sports ball person. Or at least someone who knows that the Packers have great colors.

It sounds like a good plan to me and no one need never know it wasn’t meant to be that way from the start!

Your socks are looking great! That is a nice stripe pattern for sure, even if it is sports ball related 😉 Also, your sweater plan is a good one! It will look great, and no one will ever know.
